"A book is a garden, an orchard, a storehouse, a party, a company by the way, a counselor, a multitude of counselors."

– Charles Baudelaire

This unique collection of poetry is a treasury of over 275 selections, ranging from traditional rhymes for the very young to classical and contemporary poems that will engage the older child.
Arranged in alphabetical order by title, and decorated enchantingly with lively pen and ink illustrations, it contains a wide range of songs, finger-plays and chants as well. Besides, this book includes a special heartwarming collection of Hindi verse, written thoughtfully in English to encourage those unable to read the pure Devnagari script – a boost towards verbal mastering of our National language.
