Armin Wandrewala

Armin Wandrewala is a lawyer and author. She has hitherto published four books:

  • THE TURNING: a crime novel, which also examines a socio-legal issue. The Turning has also been published in German.
  • ALONE … IN THE VALLEY OF THE GODS: a true account of Armin’s treks and travels alone in the Garhwal Himalaya: the Valley of Flowers, Hemkund, and the Vasudhara Falls, beyond Mana, on the Indo-Tibet Border.
  • NOT JUST LEGALLY SPEAKING: a compilation of columns on legal and socio legal issues which had appeared in Bombay Times, Times of India.
  • BRICK BY BRICK … THOUGHT BY THOUGHT… THE J.B. VACHHA HIGH SCHOOL: A commemorative volume on the Centennial of JBV, which Armin was requested to write by the Trustees and Management, containing the History of JBV, the Dadar Parsi Colony and environs, pen-pictures of the Founders, and much more!

Armin has given talks and readings in India and abroad. She concerns herself with social and civic issues.
Passionate about nature, she travels to fairly remote parts of the world, solo! She enjoys photography and embellishes her travel writing with her own photographs.
