Jamva Chaloji - Parsi Delicacies for all Occasions: Part Two
Katy Dalal

Katy Dalal's Jamva Chaloji now has a sequel, with all the traditional Parsi dishes that could not find a place in Part one. It specifically includes rare recipes that today have been forgotten, such as 'tadi-na-sekta-ni-sing' (drumsticks cooked in toddy) and 'pakki-keri-ma-gos' (mutton cooked in ripe mangoes). With stunning photographs to compliment detailed cooking instructions, the book promises to re-acquaint you with the Parsi grandmother's kitchen!

This book is a sequel to the runaway bestseller "Jamva Chaloji" by the same author. It is the acme of Parsi cuisine and contains more than 200 recipes, several of which are almost forgotten dishes. The book also gives a glimpse of Parsi life in the early 20th century. Beautifully illustrated and meticulously written, there are recipes to tickle every palate, whether your choice be fish, prawns, chicken, duck, vegetables, dals, muttorn, eggs or sumptuous Parsi sweets and teatime treats.
